| SPRINGFIELD, MA—For the last six years, Attorney Gonzalez has been an Associate Attorney at Carney & Bassil in Boston. During that time he volunteered a fair amount of his time to non-profit agencies
serving the poor and underserved communities throughout the state. Attorney Gonzalez saw a need for a
Latino lawyer who can communicate and relate to Hispanics in the community and stay in touch with the
pulse of the Latino community. Realizing this need, Attorney Gonzalez decided to open his own law
office right here in Springfield. He then contacted the Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce to
coordinate an effort aimed at establishing a firm where he would be more readily accessible by the Latino
community. With the combined effort of Reinaldo Gonzalez and the Massachusetts Latino Chamber
of Commerce, The Gonzalez Law Office was established with the mission to better serve our Latino
Community. The Gonzalez Law Office is located within the MLCC Latino Business Center at 1655
Main Street, Suite 201 Springfield, MA.
Attorney Renaldo Gonzalez has an extensive and solid background in the legal field.
He worked as an investigator at the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, the state
agency in charge of attorney discipline. He also worked as a paralegal for over thirteen
years right here in Springfield, prior to moving to Boston in 1998. For the past
six years, he has allocated a substantial part of his time to community-oriented legal
services by volunteering for numerous workshops, seminars, and by providing pro
bono services.
Attorney Gonzalez was born and raised in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, moving to
Springfield, Massachusetts in 1985. He attended Western New England College,
where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, graduating Magna Cum
Laude. His hunger for the knowledge of the law brought him to WNEC Law School and Suffolk Law School in Boston, where he attained his law degree. |
