Adjunct Faculty, Bilingual Math The School of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Transfer seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach bilingual (Spanish/English) pre-college Algebra. Minimum qualifications are an MS degree in appropriate discipline or related training and Spanish language proficiency. Preferred qualifications include college teaching experience and demonstrated creativity in the use of contemporary approaches to teaching, including the use of electronic teaching aids and student-centered learning techniques. Situated in Springfield, Massachusetts, STCC is a leader in defining the evolving role of the community college. STCC’s thirty degree granting programs respond to the educational needs of the community while its partnership with the unique, award-winning and nationally recognized STCC Technology Park allows the college to offer additional programs in business education, entrepreneurship, business incubation and technology development. Located on the grounds of the Springfield Armory, a national historic site, STCC has the privilege of occupying a campus with unique place in history while it looks to the future with a variety of innovative educational programs.
